MY SERVICES
I offer in-depth editing and consulting on written projects. This includes anything from blog posts to academic papers, to full novels.
My base rate is $30 an hour for editing. I am happy to provide a cost estimate for large-scale projects, including capstones, theses, novels, or anthologies.
WHAT CAN AN EDITOR PROVIDE?
An editor is someone who reads written work with a critical eye, searching for anything from grammatical issues to larger structural issues. They then provide options on how to fix or improve these problems.
This means that I excel at reading through writing and quickly identifying both small and large issues within each piece. For simple grammatical or spelling problems, I edit quickly and return promptly.
For help or advice on further structural or content-related problems within a piece of text, I provide both reasoning and solutions. The original author is then consulted with this information and then may choose whether to implement any changes.
